Born in Prague on October 16, 1974. She arrived in France in 1993, she learned French at the Sorbonne before starting a degree in art history at the Sorbonne in 1994, leaving a diploma in her pocket for two more years. Later to take a less academic path.
Seeking to put her passion for art at the service of major cultural projects, she pursued a postgraduate degree (M.S.T.) and obtained her master's degree two years later.
For her first collections, Katerina was inspired by Buster Keaton's films.
She has developed her own definition of clothing using the techniques of yesterday and today. As in a silent film, in which the face and attitude of the actors express their emotions, Katerina appropriates the dress as a mode of expression in its own right.
